General Questions
Do I need an IKEA design before scheduling an appointment with you?
No, it's not necessary. If you want to know the approximate cost of your kitchen in the first meeting, it's handy to have a design/layout ready. This can be from IKEA's kitchen planner, or you can sketch it on paper.
I want a new kitchen, how do you work?

Can I only have you create a design, and get the fronts elsewhere?
Yes. A design consultation including a 3D design drawing costs €250. For more than 1 revision of the design, we charge €75 per revision.
Can I get your fronts for a kitchen that is not from IKEA or KVIK?
Currently, we only supply kitchen fronts for IKEA Metod + Faktum and KVIK Bordo + Senti kitchens.
We can, of course, also create custom fronts for other kitchens, but you are responsible for providing the correct dimensions and for drilling and milling the hinge holes yourself.
I don't need a design from you and want to order directly, is that possible?
To ensure that all parts of your kitchen fit perfectly, we always schedule a Design Meeting. If your IKEA design is already complete, the appointment will be faster than if the whole design still needs to be created. You can schedule a Design Meeting here. We ask for a deposit of €250 for this. This amount will be deducted from your order invoice.
Lead times + Payments
What is your lead time?
It depends on the material you choose, between 6 and 16 weeks. Contact us for the current lead time for your preferred material.
Do you have a minimum order value?
Yes, we only start production for orders from €2,500. Customers who have already placed an order with us can make smaller reorders. They pay an additional €250 for a reorder under €2,500.
What are your payment terms?
Once the invoice for your order is (partially) paid, the order will be put into production.
The remaining amount must be paid before the agreed delivery date.
How much does such a BABOON kitchen cost?
We design kitchens based on IKEA or KVIK and supply the visible parts (fronts, countertop, side panels + custom cabinets).
The final cost of the kitchen depends on how many fronts and side panels you need, but also on the appliances and cabinet fittings you choose.

Other Questions
Where are your fronts and countertops produced?
From designing the patterns, assembling the material, cutting, edging, routing, packing, to shipping; everything is designed, produced, and shipped in the Netherlands. And we're proud of that :)
Do you provide a warranty?
Absolutely! We offer a three-year warranty on our kitchen fronts and countertops and will do everything to ensure that you are and remain a satisfied customer ;)
Do you also provide installation services?
No. We design kitchens based on IKEA or KVIK and supply the visible parts. Installation of the kitchen and the fronts must be done by yourself, or you can, of course, outsource it to a contractor or handyman/woman.
Our fronts are easy to assemble as we have already prepared all hinge/drawer holes. You can use your IKEA manual for assembly.
Are there charges for transportation?
You can pick up your order by appointment from our warehouse in Lijnden. We also deliver to your home with our own driver. The costs for this are €55 for orders within a radius of 40 km from Amsterdam. Orders with a radius >40km from Amsterdam will be charged €95 for delivery.
Our driver comes alone and delivers on the Ground Floor.
