Designer Rotterdam
For our design studio in the heart of Rotterdam, we are looking for a creative designer who will collaborate with our clients to create their dream kitchen.
In essence, you will be the main point of contact from the initial introduction to the delivery of our products and beyond.
What you will do..
In our design studio, you will provide expert advice on our process and materials, showcasing where your knowledge and attention to detail can add value.
You will assist clients in making decisions and planning the layout of the kitchen, both aesthetically and practically. You'll create the design in SketchUp and adjust it until it fully aligns with the client's wishes.
Once the client places an order, you will prepare it for our factory and coordinate with the client and our warehouse to confirm the delivery date.
Your tasks will be divided as follows:
- 40% creating designs in SketchUp,
- 40% project management of your clients,
- 20% customer service and assisting walk-in clients.
About you
> You have a design background and are not afraid of using color.
> You genuinely enjoy helping and advising clients in their quest for their dream kitchen and dislike standard solutions.
> You are proficient in Dutch and SketchUp.
> You are quick to identify client needs and can translate these into design and sales.
> You can work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
> You are commercial, creative, energetic, and confident.
> You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of English.
> You are available for a minimum of 24 hours per week.
Bonus points
You are handy and always assemble your IKEA cabinets with a drill.
You have purchased a kitchen before and know how (different) it works in the traditional kitchen market.
